I'd love to hear from folks who use #WriteAs or #WriteFreely as a professional blog. Is one preferred over the other? If one joins a WriteFreely instance, can I link that directly to my website? Can I upload videos to either?

Dude how much I wish someone could give me an invitation link to @write_as .

I did tried @writefreely already on other instances, but I WISH I could try write.as but it's paid. The other option is to receive an invitation from a paid WriteAs member.

If some of you do have it, give me it. I NEED to try it.

I want to record an upcoming trip around Australia, primarily for family and friends, with a paragraph or two, photos, and maybe a video, daily, or as time permits. I am looking at micro.blog and write.as for a hosted solution. As aways there are pluses and minuses for both. I like the password option with write.as, but it would appear that I would have to host videos elsewhere, while micro.blog does support videos but requires family and friends to subscribe. Are there any other options, that implement ActivityPub, I should look at that allow me to keep ownership of the content? Any thoughts on either of these two? TIA

How many people are actively using #WriteAs was wondering on how the user experience was like.

As a normal folk trying to understand the inner workings of the fedi, Mastodon, and all these available services that interact with the platform: has the possibility of some kind of single signon option been discussed?

It feels weird that I have to create completely separate acounts for #Mastodon, #PixelFed, #kbin, #friendica, #WriteAs etc.
