Another Sci-fi show that you have to Ignore the obvious...

40-60 years after returning from a multi-lightyear away planet, back to apocalyptic Earth... they come to find people still alive and they are still getting around in diesel boats.

Apocalyptic Earth survivors can do a better job at keeping fuel in a quality burnable state - than we currently can. #Hmmm
