A large majority of Americans support the writers and actors strikes, and a plurality hold an unfavorable view of the Hollywood studios, according to a new poll by Data for Progress.

The non-producing caste will do everything in their power to enrich themselves and other non-producers at the expense (always) of culture creators.

They did it to music.
They did it to books.
They want to do it to artists
They want to do it to screen creators.

The people of the #WritersGuild should realize very fast that the #writersstrike in it's current form is going to end up in defeat. They need to escalate their actions to directly affect the executives who'd rather push people into destitute poverty than give them good compensation for the work they do.

Unless influential people within the #AMPTP can't escape the protests, are unable to live their life peacefully until they've met the demands of the writers, the #strike is going to fail.

Personally, I don't like AI in many instances, but it's inevitable in some sectors. So for God's sake, someone needs to ensure that newsrooms retain editorial control of what they publish, even if a bot was involved.
And if your newsroom isn't unionized, maybe now is the time to #organize and #unionize. Newsrooms are facing the same issues being raised in the #WritersGuild strike, so it's on journalists to make sure they can stop bad ideas before they become embedded in their business.
