New #authors and some experienced #writers are often unaware of how signing a #publishing contract can steal your rights. Always consult with the team at a #writersunion (of some nature) as they can alert you to problems in your contract. I #write things into my #contracts , such as "cover approval" and only give away first rights and 40%. #writingcommunity
