One of these days, I'm going to make a confession that will likely get me ostracized from the entire humorous sci-fi and fantasy #WritingCommnity . Today is not that day. Today is the day I will cryptically allude to said confession and give everyone time and incentive to sharpen up those pitchforks.
Anyone else got a burning secret they aren't going to share?

I am ungodly tired and my De Quervains decided to flare up literally 30 MINUTES BEFORE I LEFT but it was amazing to go to a writer's workshop again. It's just so nice to sit and write stuff you wouldn't normally write and share stuff and chat about writing and get inspired.

And unlike my last group, there was someone else here writing WEIRD SHIT like yes thank you it's not just me making this prompt about a train journey involve a haunted interdimensional portal, good stuff.

I definitely agree that MC doesn't need to be likable. Several of my favorite pieces of media have deeply unlikable protagonists. Humbert Humbert, Grendel, Light Yagami.
Imo protags really just need to be driven, someone with a strong goal. #writing #writingcommnity
