A selection of swan primary feathers that have been drying for years in preparation for use as writing quills. Any recommendations for further preparation before I use a penknife to cut the nib & put them to use?
Need some suitable ink... suggestions please!
Edit: No swans were harmed whilst collecting these feathers.
