Part of the reason Sanction arose is The Dee Sanction hacks. It might have been a game of Elizabethan supernatural investigation, but in short order, it was powering espionage, future wars, cyberpunk, Westerns, and more.
Sanction: Back it to hack it!

Sanction characters are not heroes. Characters are vulnerable. They'll die if they do not exercise caution. Teamwork helps, too.
At the same time, if you don't do something, you can guarantee you'll get the blame when everything goes wrong... Fun, right?

As a challenge-driven game, Sanction introduces the real-world challenge of setting aside your twenty-sided die and giving the other polyhedrals a workout 😆
Indeed, you can go a step further, set the dice aside altogether, and use a pack of cards!

The Sanction #TTRPG kicks off the game with simple character generation, achieved with dice or playing cards, a little imagination, and a few choices, like how to set your Resources.
Do you opt for six-sided #dice across the set or try to stand out from the crowd?

A quick flick through the current 34-page draft of Sanction.
All the elements are there except some of the more guiding materials, like how to consider antagonist construction or building lifepath creation tables.
Obviously, the cover/art is also missing, but that's a work in progress and will be in place (all being well) for the Kickstarter in a couple of weeks.

So, those people who have tweaked and adapted #TheDeeSanction to other settings, what do you change?
Is it just the character gen choices/skills (i.e., the lifepath) or is there more to it?
If I release Sanction to let folk create their own stuff, what tools do you need?
