#wrtc2023 award after a casual mixed mode chase.
I do more SSB now, against all knowledge, to counter the abundance of 'that' mode whose name I shall not mention.
#hamradio is the #greatesthobbyintheworld
But #cw4life...

I've reached the "why do I keep doing this?" point of the UBA DX SSB contest...
No one cares about a small ssb event anymore.
Seen from CW lover POV.
Meanwhile those #wrtc2023 award guys are running pileups like there's no tomorrow. Maybe there isn't?
I should just go to #CQ160CW and play there.
Or go to bed and sweat out that semi-flu-turning-into-a-nasty-cold?
Oh the lure of the #hfbands in #amateurradio !!!

Called CQ on 160, zero replies although a few East Coast USA skimmers picked me up.
Skipped 80 and 40.
Called a bunch of #wrtc2022 / #wrtc2023 award stations on the other bands.
Called CQ on 30m and got called by K5NU, gave him 559. Found P4/DL4MM and gave him 559 too.
Lotsa calling has been done.
Not really a spectacular sunrise moment here for a #morsecode #hamradio operator on the #hfbands.
No wonder everyone puts all the CW chips on 'cw contest weekend'.

#morsle might be a funny gimmick but nothing beats a few real CW QSO on the #hfbands .
300+ in the Hungarian HADX contest. Very casual.
The notorious #reversebeaconnetwork picks me up in VK and ZL with nice S/N dB readings but not much coming in from that part of the planet.
Bagged a few new #wrtc2022 / #wrtc2023 award stations as well.
It never gets boring, that much is sure!
