6 followers · 41 posts · Server newsie.socialThis edition is the first to use results from a new version of #WSIM that uses #temperature and #precipitation data from the ECMWF Reanalysis v5 (ERA5) instead of gridded station data published by NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center. We have also changed the baseline period for computing statistical distributions from 1950-2009 (60 years) to 1979-2018 (40 years) to rely more exclusively on data from the satellite era.
