From and grew up in Country but been living in on for 6 1/2 years now... still not sure I consider myself local, esp given a good chunk of that time was in Lockdown!

Another that's flocked here as part of the great migration, still not ready to totally abandon the bird just yet but do like the community and feel that is here, something that I felt twitter lost years ago... Great to keep old connections alive but harder to make new ones

Hello, from the innerwest suburbs of . I love (mostly clothes from indie pattern design companies) and currently studying and . I've had a long career teaching in international and higher education, but burnout finally got me after teaching remotely over the pandemic lockdowns for almost two years. I am making the move into another career, employed in a part-time job that offers much better work-life balance and opportunities to develop new skills.

I’ve driven through and KinglakeNationalPark today (both on . The absolutely stunning scenery - tall trees, ferns, green everywhere - feels like something I need more of in my life. I’ve had a big goofy smile on my face all day, despite the high pain level. Grateful for my meds, and for this !

Next Stop is , also on . I spent a lot of time here in my twenties, when my wife lived in , so it's really really lovely being back here.

I've had a cold drink at , and popped into , which was my favourite weird shop here years ago. I bought some Christmas presents - a tiny magnetic travel chessboard for one of my kids, and a music box that plays 'You Are My Sunshine' for the other.

On my way to a speaking event on () in the (my ! Thanks friends!). Planning to stop in lots of towns along the way. First stop is on (), where I got an AMAZING four cheese toastie & (which I'm now obsessed with!) from a hole in the wall cafe called . Go there if you get the chance - the staff and even the customers waiting for their orders were super friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious & customisable.
