Despite being "#UbuntuCertified" absolute basics like the #WWAN module didn't wotk at all on a work issued #ThinkPad #P15v.
Neither them nor #Canonical nor #Fibocom (#850GL WWAN Card) nor #Intel (#XMM7360 is the chipset of said card) felt responsible to fix it.
Not gonna talk about #nvidia being shitty again on that occasion...

You don't want to know how many @Raspberry_Pi with #ipFire and #WWAN modems are mounted on DIN-Rails solely to do #OpenVPN and allow #RemoteAccess...

Still I'll stay mad for the refusal of #Lenovo, #Fibocom & #Intel to provide drivers for the integrated #WWAN modem:
Fibocom #850GL - which is just a rebadged Intel #XMM7360...
Because I know drivers for it exist - just like Intel refusing to release the Driver for the #GMA500 aka. #ImaginationTech PowerVR SGX GPU known als #Poulsbo...

It has a 512gb ssd, a 480gb ngff in the #wwan slot and a 200gb sdxc in the #expresscard slot. So far on the ssd, I have installed Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7 pro w/VMware capabilities (all for giggles). I’ve also put Arch w/icewm and Slackware on it so far. My next plan is to put Gentoo on the ngff. I have it all setup on #grub and no issues so far. 1/2
