#WYLeg House Corporations just considered HB49, which would have allowed #Wyoming municipal nonpartisan elections to be done using ranked choice voting. This would have shortened and simplified campaigns, helped to take parties and big money out of local politics. Of course, they rejected it.

@Aporkalypse666 I’m from #Wyoming and have met some of the #WYLeg members who are sponsoring that bill. First thing you need to know: It’s a “resolution,” not a law. It doesn’t actually ban anything.

Secondly, #WY produces almost no oil. Its fossil fuel output is nearly all coal, which of course isn’t used to make gasoline but can be used to make electricity for EVs. So are these pols just ignorant? Nope. They’re all Republicans, and in Wyoming… 1/2

Alabama, the second least vaxxed state in the US, is being hit hard by XBB.1.5. Guess which state is the LEAST vaxxed? That’s right: #Wyoming.
