Very long shot, but a Michael MJD video inspired me to ask the fediverse if they might know where I can find a copy of an old #wysiwyg web page editor. I think it was named Cool Page Editor or something along those lines and it ran on Win 95. It was a drag and drop editor more like Microsoft Publisher than it was like Word or most desktop editors of the time.

2023 is the 50th Anniversary for #guiOS driven computer SYSTEMS and #WYSIWYG . Fans of #retrocomputers can see the few left of 2.000 original #XeroxAlto's at #CHM, Mountain View, CA. and #VCF 's like the #vcfb in mid October, #Berlin.

I'm attempting to wean myself off Windows 11. The biggest sticking point is not having a replacement for Adobe Dreamweaver.

PS: The interface for providing reviews is horrible. End-of-line characters (both ^M and ^J) are removed, forcing the reviewer to restore them with lots of #WYSIWYG clicking. There's no buttton for allow plain text insertion of a review.

Also seeing more creators investing time into thier platform agnostic spaces (e.g. personal websites, project websites). I know not all #furries wanna bother with managing websites (although there are plenty of #WYSIWYG/code-less methods and services) I'm a #furry #WebDesigner so I'm open to peeps reaching out if they need help.

It takes a lot to offend me, but once offended, I can be rather rude.

Turkey whining about #Twitter disruption during earthquake aftermath is ... it's what you get if you rely on 'awesome' billionaire's centralized app instead on an open and decentralized one like Mastodon. #WYSIWYG

So to bring it all back, the solution to your complicated mid-to-large scale #ecommerce operation is to 1) build via #lowcode 2) a new tool that requires deep integration/replacement of an existing one 3) using an advanced #wysiwyg that both engineers and marketers need to find satisfactory.

Look we all hate Magento, but I think this path to revenge ain’t it.
