@SvenDowideit Ah yeah! This #x62 wholly works. I've mulled on updating the display from the 1024x768 original... but it's endearing. I got a battery that gets 7-8hrs. I take this one everywhere.
I've thought about the the x2100. Sounds like Jacky at #51nb #lcdfans has more in stock currently ;-)
it seems like a portable #e-ink that can double as writing tablet, reader, and USB-C display isn't technically impossible. I'll pay the premium that "eating our own product lines" fear instills in executives -- I don't want your $1200 23" e-ink display and I don't want speakers and a thumbprint on the tablet-only (android store hacks to cast the screen notwithstanding) $499 10.3"
seriously wondering if I can shove an e-ink in the #thinkpad #x62 carcasses I have in a basement.
I have enjoyed my time with the x62, but it's time for an x395.
I have an extra 3rd gen i5 x62 and this 4th gen i7 x62 board, plus two original AFFS 4:3 screens -- but only one x61 housing!
anyway, if you are interested, I am EU based and looking to get them out of my apartment.
