之前就看到英文媒體開始評測這張有趣的卡以及其搭配的主機板
一直以來都有句話： #華擎 自古出妖版
什麼X99、EPYC給你做ITX啊
這種事情他們常常做
最近華語媒體也開始評測這張卡
Allen 分享一點小想法：
這是很有創意的做法
不過使用 AMD 晶片組做出擴充卡跟直接用第三方晶片做擴充卡相比
之間的成本有沒有優勢
因為目前這個產品也還是測試中
也只能搭配特定"幾張主機板"
畢竟你可以看到除了PCIE還需要額外的連接
如果這個擴充卡不能透過使用 AMD 晶片組來拿到價格優勢
其實這個做法可能沒有什麼效益
"在晶片組升級不會讓系統有額外效能增長的前提下"
這張卡就是一張I/O擴充卡
其實 #QNAP 也出過幾張 M.2 跟 10G 網路的 Combo 卡
Allen 自己會拿這兩樣東西去做類比
最後
很開心看到這樣的嘗試
如果最後真的能做成一張"純IO卡"
就算限 AMD 主機板使用
只要不限定特定板子
Allen 還是覺得算是有其特殊市場
