My MY23 Volvo #XC60Recharge with #AndroidAutomotive OS only shows Google/Apple Maps, or blank. No track info on the driver console.
No #AndroidAuto available either, so I can’t get phone notifications when using Samsung phones. Mostly why I switched back to my iPhone.

I've mostly been using one pedal driving (B mode) with my Volvo #XC60Recharge but I actually think regular D mode is more convenient and less tiring.
Need to experiment and see which mode gives me more electric range.
Now, some things I like about the #XC60Recharge:
1. Incredibly comfortable seats, and drives quite well. I opted for the massage seats and they're good.
2. #Bowers&Wilkins sound system. Definitely one of the best I've ever heard in a car.
3. The Heads-Up Display is bright and clear but polarised sunglasses make the HUD almost disappear, so I have to use plain, tinted glasses when driving.
4. It's a PHEV. I have the flexibility of daily driving on electricity and long distances on fuel. This is needed until Australia has more reliable public charging infrastructure.
By the time my lease ends in Dec 2026, there should be no issues with public charging and I can switch to a full BEV.
Whilst the Volvo #XC60Recharge has been really nice to drive, after driving it for 2 months, there are quite a few things I've disliked:
1. All the piano black surfaces collect dust and fingerprints like crazy. Have to give it a wipe every few days.
2. The wireless charger location is in direct sunlight, so ends up being useless as it makes my phone burning hot.
3. Volvo using #AndroidAutomotive instead of Sensus meant that a lot of functionality previously available was removed. No Park Pilot Assist. No quick settings to change Drive modes. No way to change the sensitivity of the emergency braking sensors. No way to set the car to always start in Pure mode (Australian models).
4. Slow charging. It's got a max of 3.6 kWh charging. The power socket at home provides around 1.8 kWh. Takes 9-10 hours to recharge from flat. (4-5 hours if I use a faster charger).
I signed a lease for 4 years for this car, so I'm stuck with it. I hope software updates eventually bring back some functionality.

I bought a pair of Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 headphones because I really liked the sound system in my Volvo #XC60Recharge but feel like I’d made a mistake of not getting a Bang & Olufsen Beoplay HX instead.
The B&W are quite excellent but I also seem to prefer B&O’s sound signature slightly more.
I novated leased a #Volvo #XC60Recharge back in mid-Dec, and now believe I should’ve chosen a full EV instead of a PHEV.
I’d been worried about charging before getting the car but have discovered no issues.
I’m contracted for 4 years, so no changing until 2026 without paying a penalty.
