On #gentoo #linux /etc/local.d is often thought of as openRC only. Turns out it works by default on systemd as well!

Think the docs need updating on that but it was cool not having to re-tool #xenia zram on systemd.

I got systemd working on Xenia! It took me roughly 2 days which to me just shows how strong Xenia is at being customisable - not only did I have a prototype in a few hours it was just a couple extra packages and some files in the overlay. Most of the 2 days was time spent building.

Xenia supports switching between OpenRC and systemd at your leisure.

Xenia Linux has been updated to include the latest software versions, including kernel 6.1.38 which fixes stackrot. Both unstable and stable are now updated. Please update your system when possible! @xenia

Been messing around with the Xbox 360 #emulator #Xenia lately. I've used it to get 5 hours into Lost Odyssey but the last time I played was well over a year ago. My new RX 6500 XT seems more than capable of running it at 2x resolution but the game has crashed multiple times and I'm experiencing some graphical flickering which I think is z-fighting. I've had the same issues in the past but I think the flickering only happened on my MacBook (also AMD GPU). It's not a problem on my GTX 1080 system.

My new #sunglasses arrived! An oval Ray-Ban RB1970 as I've been obnoxiously mentioning here.

First time I actually own sunglasses from a good brand instead of a cheap imitation purchased from some kiosk.

While I still want #Xenia-like sunglasses, I'm pretty happy with this one too. 💙

I'm excited about my new RB1970 sunglasses, it should probably arrive in three days.

Depending on how good I'd look wearing it, I'm actually thinking about doing my #KDE #Akademy talk with it, or at least the introduction.

I'd have loved to use a #Xenia #Linux shirt and the D&G glasses that mirror Xenia's, but alas. That will have to be left for another year.

Purchased the RB1970. Directly from the manufacturer and it was 20% off too!

I'll consider the DG2155 in the future, it's a bit more expensive but it's pretty much the de-facto #Xenia :fox: sunglasses, so I definitely want to have one at some point.

Since #Xenia the character (by Alan Mackey) is CC0 licensed, I see no reason why I can't make myself happy by including that foxer as a secret playable character, yesssss~

As long as it has some respect of having her be a cool good sided person and have the game get released on Linux. Which is easy to do with Godot.

...yes, still just making portraits for a mockup, I cry for lack of free time.
