this week was mostly spent working on database elements for Xenith Awakening. The Database will contain lore elements about various characters, enemies, and even history of the planet. I plan to have it where the player collects Data Discs and can then choose which database entry to unlock with each one.

so, random idea came to mind to play to giving people different options to progress in my game, I'll make a dash attack that deals slightly more damage than a normal attack, but is only usable while on the ground, and comes with the risk of being damaged if the dash/attack ends before being outside the enemy's hitbox. it would not be intended for use against larger enemies.
