Does anyone know of any pronouns that aren't he/him or she/her, that are preferably masc leaning if possible, that won't make people insist I'm non binary even after being explicitly told I'm not?

I naturally refer to myself with they/them pronouns and gender neutral language, but in practise, this just gets me misgendered now - people directly, and indirectly, refer to me as non binary, and being explicitly corrected doesn't stop this. People very much seem to be tied in to the idea that he/him = male, she/her = female, they/them = non binary, and can sometimes make the exception for non binary people using he/him or she/her. Yet when I, a binary person, use they/them and gender neutral language, I get told I'm non binary - so, misgendered 😭

I would use xe/xem, but I'm not sure that will improve anything 🫠 and as I said, I do naturally refer to myself with they/them

New instance, new expanded #introduction

Hi I'm Nemo. I'm a 39 year old massage therapist from the United States. I also do some online sex work (see my separate nsfw intro).

I read tarot and I love mythology. I chose the name Nemo as a shortened and more gender neutral form of Mnemosyne, the Greek titaness/goddess of memory and mother of the nine muses.

Sometimes I'm creative and I make stuff. Mostly I'm a potato and I consume it. I like most kinds of art, music, poetry (I write a little), literature (especially sci-fi), etc. I like movies & TV and I rewatch my favorites a lot. I'm currently watching Leverage for like the 4th time (go watch it! It's fun).

I love to sing and am classically trained. I'm interested in language, linguistics, and philosophy especially absurdism.

I have ADHD, depression and anxiety. I joke about my mental health especially in meme form, and I hope to destigmatize mental illness by being open about it and making it relatable.
