#xi wants the Land as much as #putin : it may be not the best thing for #china, but the conquest of land, expecially if wrongfully colonized by a distant and barbaric foreign power, will make his name glorious in the next thousand years.
if there are not many Han is not important, it can be colonized like Tibet or Uyguria.
as far as #russia can't strike back, of course: the only thing stopping xi.

Xí Jìnpíng 习近平 landed in South Africa on Monday for the 15th BRICS Summit. The leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will meet in Johannesburg from August 22 to 24, although Vladimir Putin will appear virtually, to avoid obligating South Africa to arrest him because of International Criminal Court obligations.
