I just learned that the #XiMpLe package (https://cran.r-project.org/package=XiMpLe) got some interesting updates in the development branch (https://github.com/rkward-community/XiMpLe/commits/develop). XiMpLe is a simple #XML tree parser/generator. For example it is useful to to read XML files into R objects, to get information out of and into nodes, and write R objects back to XML code. Originally it was made for the development of #RKWard plugin.
