Wrapped a bunch of #xmaspresents for my son today. The ones I bought, at least. My partner will have to wrap the ones he bought on his own. When I was 17 my one aunt and uncle asked me to babysit for them. They couldn't afford to pay me, so instead they rented The Breakfast Club for me.

That year they gave me the most thoughtful, sweet, heart-tugging gift for Christmas a glass bottle of Coke and a Chef Boyardee pizza mix. They had so little, but that gift was probably the best gift I ever got, and only because of the intent that it came from.

I know “selling” is considered slightly infra dig here but I have no skin in this particular game. The W4 Art and Design Christmas Fair is on today between 11-5pm. It’s at St Albans Church W4 5LG in west #London. A multitude of talented #artists and #creators are displaying there including @hasenschneck whose #ceramics are absolutely lush. So if you’re in London, get off your arse and get over there. Artists need to eat too.
