As a 4-year inmate of the "real world" asylum outside the chocolate factory, I agree with vast swathes of that doc.

Many things are weirdly and inexplicably different. Reliance on logging. Haphazard authentication, authorization, and delegation. Multi repos.

But the teams I've worked with have all been grateful for better dashboards, easier tooling, post-incident reviews, SLOs, rate limits, build-at-head, etc.

Quite amazed by the #Xoogler community. While horrible what happened, I'm taken advantage of all the activities/events going on in #Singapore and tag along/learn from others

This makes me proud of being a Googler -- it shows people care for one another and most really are googley and not assholes.

Can't say the same of some other firms.
