Windows of the Ward Room of an exact replica of an 18th Century Russian Man-of-War called The Frigate Shtandart originally built by Alexander the Great in St. Petersburg in 1703.

Replicated by young enthusiasts and crewed by volunteers from all over the world.

Okay, well yes, it's a Russian Warship, a replica of the Frigate Shtandart to be precise. No it wasn't built by Putin's navy, it was built by young enthusiasts, and crewed by volunteers from all over the world.

10 years ago it slipped into under cover of darkness and I photographed it. Didn't have a tripod so pushed the ISO to 20000 and shot at 1/40th.

A small ornamental window from somewhere in , I won't name the place as I believe it's still a live .

Just loved the shadow vs colour from the few pieces of red stained glass which thankfully hadn't been smashed like a lot of the glass in this complex.

Only going back 10 years today, to Hythe in Kent, where a certain church is considered a little out of the ordinary.

There is a graveyard, and there are people buried in it, but there's an awful lot more who aren't, buried that is.

Just a tiny insignificant waterfall somewhere in the vicinity of the Esgaireira Reservoir Nr. Machynlleth in Powys.

There are so many in the area it's surprising I stopped to take a photo, I think we were looking at a bit of land before settling on the smallholding.

Does have that typically Welsh crystal clear water and a surrounding of vibrant green it's hard to escape in Wales.

Another from Scotland, this time the Dunmore Estate Nr. Falkirk. Originally planned on seeing the Elphinstone Tower Mausoleum and The Pineapple, but came across this avenue of Giant Sequoia on route to the tower.

My partner at the time for scale. I'd have a guess at 200-250 years old, given that they can live for 3000 years they've got some growing to do.

Spent sitting by the Spoil Hole, (where the tunnelled chalk was dumped 80ft onto the beach) at Z Rocket underground shelter Nr. St. Margret's, Kent.

Loong way down and often inhabited by homicidal pigeons who will fly at you in an attempt to make you fall through it.

Here's a shot from deep below in , it's an abandoned which can still be made operational if need be.

Where we were is approx. 200ft down, the workings span 25 miles over 3 levels, it's worked on the room and pillar method, with rooms 13 m wide and pillars 17 m square, ceiling height is 8 m.

It is immense, just for scale we have Westy lighting up the tunnel ahead.
