41 followers · 127 posts · Server noc.socialVery powerful option to work from VR is using #KasmWorkspaces to open an #Ubuntu Desktop within the VR Browser. Works better with a supported bluetooth keyboard connected to the headset.
I am using a self-hosted installation, but
#KasmWeb has a cloud based option that is reasonably priced and should work great.
I also tested using it remotely through a @cloudflare Access Tunnel, and it works just as great!

The coolest thing about having #ApacheGuacamole in my #HomeLab is that I can use my #Proxmox VMs with #ZorinOS #Linux, or #Windows11 from any #VR app that includes a browser, such as #MeetinVR, #MetaQuest Home, #EngageXR.
Though my primary #XR4Work app is #ImmersedVR, that works with Windows, Linux or Mac, it's good to have options.
Other apps such as #vSpatial or #VRDesktop work great but only for Windows.
#HorizonWorkrooms does not work because it requires a GPU that my VMs don't have.
