that #XR is *also* an abbreviation for #ExtinctionRebellion! Imagine my confusion sifting through *those* hashtags that are in languages I don’t speak!
Perhaps this played a big part in why #Apple switched from #xrOS to #visionOS for their #VisionPro headset. 🤔 It’s less confusing, and easier to search/filter. 🤷♀️

The developer videos still call it #xros -- a somewhat more natural name than #VisionOs which is blander and could stand for all sorts of things. Apparently the thought "let's not put it into an existing category" won out. And the focus on "vision" for #VisionPro is also non-obvious if it's an #AR device.
