@novid He and his girlfriend slept in different rooms and, as previously stated, didn’t come into contact unless they were both donning #respirators correctly.

He used nasal spray with #xylitol round the clock, plus mouthwash with #cpc.

He kept close track of his #vitals and recorded any possible symptoms/changes (which consisted of a small headache, probably more due to the stress of trying to stay #CovidNegative when #XBB was in his personal space!).

He’s using nose spray with #xylitol and mouthwash with #CPC multiple times daily, opening all windows possible (they’re in Chicago, so it’s pretty cold!), hydrating, taking multivitamins…

I hope it’s enough to help him from feeling the brunt of whichever #XBB child he may have been exposed to.

#MedicalProfessionals should know better. 3+ years into the #pandemic, they should already be aware of the fact that it’s no more difficult to breathe while wearing a high quality respirator than it is when not wearing one. And I told them as much.

I’ve been using mouthwash containing #CPC and nose spray with #xylitol every few hours for the last 24 hours, crossing my fingers, and feeling lucky to have gotten 2x #Novavax in the past four months. But still a little nervous.

I can't recommend per se (not an MD), but other things that have shown to be anabolic to bone, mainly in pre-clinical studies (mice), include xylitol & spermidine.

I've found my Boggle game suffers when I consume xylitol, tho. It's derived from either corn or birch & I'm allergic to both - but there shouldn't be enough allergen in final product to matter. Also, corn usually makes me itch.

Friendly reminder that #Xylitol is poisonous to dogs. Spent 20 minutes frantic as hell because my beast of a dog tore into a brand new pact of gum. Googled what could happen and got horrified. Dug through the trash to realize at worst he maybe ate only one piece. Thankfully he's 150lbs, but monitoring to make sure he's okay.
