About 34% in to The Sacrifice by Rin Chupeco and I'm seriously enjoying this book!

Young adult horror filled with creepy scenes, diverse characters in race, gender, and sexuality. And a cute dog. Must forget that.

Chupeco almost always delivers for me.

Back in 2012, when I started as a children's and YA author, the Finnish publishers used to make posters of book covers. I still have a stack of them of my second novel that I bring with me to school visits etc. Sadly the publishers don't do them anymore. But my next novel's cover is so nice, I had to have it on my wall. So, as the Finns say, "Ite on saatana kaikki tehtävä", aka if you want something done, do it yourself.
