#Siberia up to 20°C warmer than normal with huge temperature anomalies, predicts weather expert

This may see #Yakutsk - #Russia’s diamond capital - at minus 4°C (24.8F) early next week, still cold to many people, but for locals this is balmy compared with the expected minus 24°C (-11.2F).
Elsewhere in Siberia and the Russian Far East other extreme anomalies are expected in temperatures.

The leader of a Siberian region has declared Friday a non-working day and urged residents to stay at home as #smoke from raging #ForestFires raised health concerns.
