@isaiah @lime_green_gnome It cuts very thin slices of tissue to be examined on a microscope--useful in a subdiscipline called histology. It uses a vibrating blade to cut through the tissue (usually embeded in something like parafin to stabilize it). Another type of slicer, called a microtome is also used.
