This memoir, From The Crusades To The Gulag And Beyond, is extremely interesting. Well-written also (Valery #Yankovksy was a writer and a poet), although published as if it’s a university syllabus. It has a lot information and pictures. It even mentions the Yankovsky’s later famous cousin #YulBrynner. It deals with a part of the history of #northernkorea often forgotten now that is had become #northkorea.
