It's the full STASH Lounge advent calendar! I love how the yarns are roughly organized by colour, but the dyers' individual styles still stand out. I don't have any idea what I'm going to use them for (yet! Designer brain will come through eventually) but I am so glad I bought this calendar — I've found so many new and fantastic indie dyers to follow and buy from in the future!⁠ 😍

Here’s the first 3 days of my advent knitting project — using the bumblebee acres lord of the rings return of the king advent set. The main color is the big skein (opened early). The overall pattern is Stephen West’s big painted honeycombs. I like how each cell shows off the day’s colorway really well. @valravn @yarn @yarndyeing @knitting Lots of indie yarn dyers and some LYSs/box curators make them! They aren’t cheap because it’s a lot of yarn (20gx24 is almost 5 full skeins!) and labour-intensive to make. But so fun to open! The #YarnAdventCalendar hashtag on IG has lots to look at.

Just beware of super-long preorders; I never order advents before June just to make sure it’s easy to follow up/get a refund if something goes wrong.
