Last week after the group ride it was just slightly too cold for comfort, and now I'm eyeing my yarn stash to see if I can crank out a lightweight hat on the knitting machine before next week's ride. (Not like I haven't already knit a dozen hats, but you know.)

I do not understand how I keep finding More Yarn. I've gone through about half the boxes, and managed to empty one box just by taking out a bunch of #fabric and #yarn. of course, I don't have anywhere for the fabric to go, which is why it was in one of those boxes. I have three very large Rubbermaid-style tote boxes stuffed with fabric, and my #100DaysOfWardrobe is just as much about busting my #FabricStash as it is about my #YarnStash

I decided to do something for #FastenOffYAL but really my eyes are bigger than my craft time! I’ve got so many #knitting projects on the go! So I had to go for an easy quick pattern using a colourful ball from my #yarnStash - I’m knitting Kat’s Perfect Beanie (pattern by Kat Riddell)

My nearly 12yo son wants to learn how to #crochet so he can ultimately make an #amigurimi #IronMan. I’m currently teaching him and my 13yo daughter how to do the chain stitch. This has inspired me to do a little crochet project while I’m at it. I’m planning to make a giant #GrannySquare blanket, using some #RovingYarn I bought a few months ago from #TheWarehouse. Something to hold me over till my #YarnStash arrives from the US, InshAllah.

My 17 year old came into my room and asked me if I’m cheating on his father with all the yarn that’s on the bed and I really don’t know if this is a weird story about me or about my son

Friday night for me means #GBBO and #knitting this shawl. Pattern by Nim Teasdale with yak/silk lace weight yarn from the now closed Bijou Basin ranch. I purchased the yarn at Reinbeck 4 years ago. #yarnstash.

Did I mention I buy too much yarn? This is just the yarn that is nice enough to use as living room decor. The leftovers and commercial yarn are in a giant plastic bin in a closet. And don't even mention the hibernating WIPs that need frogging...

My second countdown calendar just arrived at my door this morning... no idea where I'm going to put that yarn once it's open. But that's a problem for 2023! 😆
