The answer is yes, I have stopped using film, but only since the last cool photo shop closed. Circa 2002, there were probably 20 shops in the greater Detroit area that would develop 220 film and/or scan the negatives to digital file.
Circa 2011, there was only one such shop left, but (of course) it closed shortly thereafter. That’s when I sold my #yashicamat124g
