Ganz klar und ohne hin und her. #Coriolis braucht eine Frischzellenkur, einfach weil über 6 Jahre Evolution #YearZeroEngine vorbei gegangen sind. Kampfregeln, Initative, Progressionskosten, Erfahrungspunktefragen, Erweiterungen der Regel aus den Kampagnenbände und die Mathematisch fragwürdige Entscheidung mit Voller Erfolg bei 3 Erfolgen. Das gehört alles konsultiert und auf den rechten Stand gebracht. #pnpde

Tag 25: Ungespieltes Rollenspiel was ich besitze.
Was ich besitze als PDF ist #Twilight2k, das habe ich ausschliesslich aus akademischen Interesse an der Evolution der #YearZeroEngine besorgt. Als der Kickstarter lief hat es mich kalt gelassen, was will ich mit einem Kriegsspiel, und das war noch vor der Ukraine und habe es dann im Sale mitgenommen um es dann mit #BladeRunner zu vergleichen. Es wird aber definitiv ungespielt bleiben bei mir.#pnpde

Tag 7: Smartest RPG you played
So kompliziert es anfangs wirkt, finde ich die Würfelpoolmechanik von #YearZeroEngine von #MutantYearZero und #DieverbotenenLande sehr genial, Attribute sind die Lebenspunkte und auch die Anzahl der noch verfügbaren Würfel, für Ausrüstung die Haltbarkeit und die Anzahl der Würfel darstellen. Das greift sehr gut ineinander von der Mechanik.
Ansonsten #Agon, erst würfeln und dann erzählen gefällt mir als Konzept auch sehr gut #pnpde

manually memoizing some AnyDice rolls to dramatically speed things up 😅 (calculating #YearZeroEngine pushed results)
it feels like it should be easy to auto memoize stuff like this where there’s a known low cardinality

95 followers · 347 posts · Server dice.campJust finished one of my long term campaign. #ForbiddenLands #YearZeroEngine system. 66 sessions spread across 10 months, we aimed for weekly but obviously people have vacation times etc so we had to skip a fair amount of sessions. Still, 66 in < 2 years is ok with it being not even my only campaign.
Loved the party, and still love the system as well. But also I don't think I will run a long campaign in FBL again. I feel the system was at its best in the first 15-20 sessions.

3. #TheBlackSwordHack: own the original version and backed the ultimate chaos edition on KS. Will bring it to table in 2023.

There’s a really nice retooling of the combat engine on DTRPG which cleans it up and learns from later #yearzeroengine games.
