On May 26, @edmontonyouthforclimate staged a die-in at the Legislature, to call attention for the need for climate change to be an election issue. The die-in portion of the rally lasted for 20 minutes and 35 seconds to represent climate action goals to be implemented by 2035.

In the interest of full disclosure, I went to some kind of protest concerning bus fares in the mid ‘90s with my dad. In 2003 I was hanging out on Jasper Ave when a much smaller Pride Parade came marching by. I have pics from both. But the 2005 peace march was the first protest I attended by choice on my own. And it was my first protest march for sure.
