When I released "Corners" in May, my second full-length album, following "The Crow" in December of 2022, I wasn't sure if I was going to pursue doing a third album. However, it looks like I am. I'm a recipient of an Edmonton Arts Council Grant (Grants for Individuals & Collectives: Stream 1 Winter 2023) to support writing songs for a third album. Thank you to the EAC for supporting my musical work.

We’re already deep into frosty winter weather here in Alberta, so for ArtAdventCalendar day 3 I’m offering this summery monstera leaf pattern I made last year! This was inspired by my favourite artist, Mary Blair. I love how it looks great on different things in mockups, but we’ll see how it prints for real when I get my samples next week

For day 2 of ArtAdvent Calendar, let’s go back in time, to ye olden dayes when Procreate had no pressure sensitivity, streamlines, or Bézier curves. Back then if you wanted line variation & smooth curves, you simply painstakingly erased everything that didn’t look like hand inking AND YOU WERE GRATEFUL TO DO SO (I’m kidding, it was actually awful). This is a little drawing I made of my favourite Pokémon when I was first trying to loosen up my art style
