I assisted the Aspen Foundation for Labour Education and Shiloh Centre for Multicultural Roots plan the premiere of the film "Black Lives in Alberta" on November 22. The event featured a panel of speakers, excellent food, and a screening of the film, which tells the story of five generations of Black Albertans and their experiences of discrimination living on the Canadian Prairies.
