The Blue Chair Café (76 Ave & 96 St) has the Rooster Davis Band (New Orleans-style laid back jazz-R&B) on Friday Dec 2.

Also Friday, The Station on Jasper (at 105 St) has an album release by Sammy Volkov. Haven't heard any of the bands live, but I tracks sound good.

And if #YEGtheatre is more your thing, Teatro has a madcap murder mystery on at the Varscona until Sunday.

Do you want to go to a performance with real live humans, but it's so hard to find good listings of what's happening, with no weekly paper or comprehensive website anymore?
