So the story: my bike broke in the middle of the High Level Bridge. That's OK, I'll take transit home. It's normally a 20 min bike ride. Bus took 1.5h. First bus was late, meaning I waited 20 min for a bus running every 15 min. Then the bus I had to connect to left early, and I watched it drive away as I walked to the stop, so I had to wait another full 15 min at the second stop. The rest of the added time was walking, which I'm ok with. Frequent service my butt. #YEGBike #YEGTransit #YEGWalk

Got my ETS Arc card today. It feels good to be able to use transit here like I was able to in London more than a decade ago. /s

But seriously it was easy to get at kiosk at the LRT station, easy to setup an account online, and easy to use.

I have figured it out. You have to go to "My Account" first and add a payment method (I tried this before, but it errored out on my phone, worked fine from computer).

Then under "MyArc," the option to auto top-up appears.
