As stated, the CloudFlare-Free #Directory website (frontend) is using Javascript to hit the public API.

You can see how it works from the browser's "View source" feature. "view-source:http://localarea…" (Line 43)

It is possible to access the API without JS.

What we will like to see in the near future is the downgrade of Amazon (and #Cloudfront!) served sites, #Akamai, Azure, and #Google sites.
