Saving what is left of our forests matters.

Not only for carbon storage, but for ecological diversity. Large trees provide habitat and food for so many of our beautiful and unique Austra,lian critters. Large old trees with hollows provides nests for birds and animals, like the yellow bellied glider. Logging in old growth forests removes their nests and disrupts their travel to food sources. Continued logging reduces available habitat and further fragments communities leading to lack of resilience and possibly extinction.
