been reading an anthology of #YiddishLiterature abt Argentine Jewish colonies very, very slowly through the online dictionary, Foreign Language Text Reader and my almost-nonexistent #yiddish, and it's so satisfying. i read 2 pages yesterday! in a language i barely speak! abt the topic i'm researching! so proud :)

Finally on #Babka and time for a new #introduction. I am a tenacious #Yiddishist and balebos at Olniansky Tekst Farlag. A publishing house based in Malmo, Sweden with 100% focus on #YiddishLiterature! I hope to find a lot of people here who speaks or want to speak #Yiddish and I must say it's looking good so far!

I am also active in the #Masorti community in Malmo and the current chairman of our small kehile. So general discussions about #Judaism is obviously of interest as well. ✡️​

Teaching a bit of Sholem Aleichem, which, though awesome, feels wrong for my lack of Yiddish. (Have only a smattering from my parents and grandparents.) However! I'm on sabbatical beginning in June. What's the best place to start? Open to lessons, short-term immersive programs, quality resources, etc.
