Yeah, korea outlaws left-wing political parties under it's sweeping wartime national-security laws.
Which tells you a lot about why they don't want the war to come to an end... Because then they wouldn't have an excuse for vetoing legitimate political parties that oppose them.

This is being driven by two factors:
1. Frenzied real-estate speculation driving demand for labour.
2. Organizing by people like patriotic martyr Yang.
This led #Yoon to use the police as shock troops to attack the largest and most left-wing unions out there, eg. the KCWU which was the only national union that walked off the job in solidarity with truckers.

Today is the 43rd anniversary of the pro-democracy uprising in gwangju that was crushed by the korean military who murdered and raped women, children, and the elderly.
Even #Yoon, best-friend of #biden and #kishida is forced to pay homage to them today as the judgement of history and korean public opinion has shifted decisively in support of democracy in korea in the 8-9 years since I've lived here.
