From the weekly planning meeting for our annual fundraiser #boardgameconvention Save Against Fear, it's shaping up to be our best convention yet. Our vendor space is pretty much filled up. It's still early for ticket sales but we're doing fine so far.

Twelfth Night marks the beginning of Carnival season, which ends with Carnival (or Mardi Gras) itself. This event is a recreation of the more secular Twelfth Night traditions of the Middle Ages - games, music, dancing, feasting, and other entertainment.

All ages are welcome.

Possible bad weather in South Central PA tomorrow. Some folks thinking bad enough weather to have some icing in the morning. I'm thinking it mind be sleeting for an hour or two but then switch to rain. What do you think? #YorkPA

I know this is like the blind leading the blind since so many of us are new to #mastadon but here goes... How to go about creating a group or topic that is of interest to me? For instance, I'd like to start a group/topic about my state #Pennsylvania or even my town #YorkPa. Maybe even my favorite team the #BaltimoreRavens. I'm guessing however that would be like creating an #instance or #server. Is that correct? I'm guessing its not like just starting a group on #facevook. Any thoughts?

Had a great time a the York PA #postcrossing meetup today. We had about 10 people, and signed about 500 cards (ping me if you want one). I had a lot of fun talking to fellow post-crossers, and sharing postcard stories. 📮

After the meetup, I got to check out a cool little arts district in York, with some great murals. Hoping to go back soon.
