@peatbog I phrased it carefully because questions around de/federation are still pretty fluid. What I don't want: aggro dogpiles and with-em-or-agin-em ultimatums. What I do want: cautious, ~factual sharing of info about issues as they arise. An instance that openly espouses fascist violence (e.g., "relocate all other ethnic groups" and "exile the defectives") is an issue.

My own view can be summed up in a hashtag: #youfirst. People / orgs / entities that define themselves by advocating the systematic violation of others' human and civil rights "at scale" can go first. They deserve no such rights themselves. And I mean *none*.

My preferred hashtag: #youfirst. Example: So, Rupert, you don't like the rule of law? #youfirst. That might sound a bit aggro, but I think it's inevitable that those rights will become transactional at least or maybe even Turing-complete.
