Ok so this one is for the #trans folks and falls in the category of rare selfies I post on my timeline.

Plus I know the #TimelineThursday pics make my new Mastodon friend Jessica ( @rooster ) feel good. Maybe it’ll help on the next leg of her trip.

So the pic on the left is me at the very beginning of Jan ‘22. The one on the right is from the beginning of Dec about three weeks ago.

2021, 3mo E, and 2022. It's not a flattering pic, but it's genuine. Best changes not shown:

-Smile has grown 3 sizes.
-I randomly dance (if alone).
-I enjoy the holidays. Mostly...
-I enjoy shopping, being in public.
-I have felt more love than I ever did sitting in a pew. Love you all!
-I've been reminded of how lucky I am to have my wife. She's never wavered, and growing together has been amazing.
-The world is more beautiful.

@rooster This might be an interesting one! My E levels were out of whack most of this year, and I was already 18 months on HRT in January, so the actual physical changes didn't really happen this year. My body now appears to be the same shape as it was then😔

But you can tell the difference the little things make - a cute smile, eyeliner, eyebrow shaping, a nicer fitting top, better lighting... not all of the magic is from HRT 😄
