As for #SFF books I'm bouncing between an electronic edition of "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" by Susanna Clarke and a hardcover of "The Citadel of Forgotten Myths" by Michael Moorcock.

I've also got a stack of #YoungWizards novels by @dianeduane in electronic awaiting my attention. I'm sure I've read these, but it's been years.

I think #YoungWizards by @dianeduane is light-years better than #HarryPotter, and AFAIK the author isn't a raving TERF.

I also think that #InTheVanishersPalace by @aliettedb could use some more love. I've been reading it as a retelling of the Eros and Psyche myth, but that might not have been what Ms. Bodard had in mind.

Lastly, I think the #Viriconium stories by M. John Harrison could use some love even though it's old and its worldbuilding is practically #BareStage.

I remember reading these in highschiol! There was a certain flavour to them I have never really seen anywhere else. It was also an interesting take on magic

Hi! I'm new here and still figuring out what I want to do with it, but I'll probably mostly start by posting links.

I like #languages, #linguistics, #astronomy, Anglo-Saxon England, #tolkien, #youngwizards, weird and wonderful nature, Eastern Orthodox Christianity, and a bunch of other things.

(Also, are there conventions about capitalizing or not capitalizing hashtags, and how to connect words in a multi-word hashtag?)
