22 followers · 52 posts · Server babka.socialCall me a nitpicker if you’d like, but of all the flaws with #YouPeopleNetflix, the one that annoys me the most occurs 4 minutes in, when Julia Louis-Dreyfus, portraying a Jewish woman, pronounces the name of the Day of Atonement as “Yahm” Kippur. It seems to me the generalized mispronunciation of יוֹם started with the Yom Kippur War. With all the Jews involved in the production of that film (yes there are Jews in Hollywood), you’d think they could’ve gotten that right. #mazeldon
