Said it before - but for the sterling efforts put in by the BBC and corporate media to protect the Union and denigrate Scotland's ability to manage its own affairs (often by omission as much as bias), Scotland would have been independent *decades* ago,. #YouYesYet

Time for a change?

Independence gives every party a chance to step away from Westminster-led politics and become fully independent, on their own terms. Maybe in an independent Scotland, some of the parties who voted against #reallivingwage could start thinking about what the public actually want, rather than taking the 'oppose SNP at all costs' line. #YouYesYet

In about a year the burnt out wasteland that is the UK will be inherited by a Labour Party which will have neither the ability nor desire to try to repair the damage the real Tories/UKIP have done. It will try to stick everything back together with gaffer tape, fail miserably, and the Tories/UKIP will win the subsequent general election. That is their plan. Scotland has a different future if it is unsentimental enough to take it. #YouYesYet
